Here’s where Full Circle Endurance athletes were racing this week:
Kara Bisaccia and Mary Houck both raced the Olympic distance triathlon at the Ticonderoga Triathlon Festival in Ticonderoga, New York on Saturday, June 17, 2023!
Since this was a C-Race for both Mary and Kara, I gave them each pretty specific directions about how to approach this race (the most important of these being about reigning in their efforts and not going all-out). They both did this and had strong, happy races! Kara finished second in her age group and Mary finished first!
In addition to both being on Performance Coaching with Full Circle Endurance, Kara and Mary are good friends. They really enjoyed being able to race together and cheer each other on. What a great day for them!
Bravo, Kara and Mary!
Mary Beth (MB) Domachowske swam the 1.2-Mile event at Swim Little York in Preble, New York on Saturday, June 17, 2023!
This was a small, grassroots open water swim event that MB reports was well-supported, which made her and the other swimmers feel very safe. It featured a non-traditional course (an acute angle, versus a loop course or a point-to-point course) that proved challenging for MB, as she ended up swimming off-course. Thankfully, a very nice kayaker was able to come to her assistance and point her in the right direction. There’s so much to learn from what the day gives you, and MB embraced that with a learning spirit on Saturday.
Good job, MB!
