Athlete Race Recap: PHUNT 25K Trail Race

Carolyn Classen was the lone Full Circle Endurance athlete racing this past weekend. She braved snow and cold windchill temperatures to run the PHUNT 25K Trail Race in Elkton, Maryland on Saturday, January 15, 2022! Conditions were 15ºF with a windchill of close to 0ºF on Saturday!

This was a challenging race given the weather and trail conditions, but Carolyn persevered (even when she slipped and took a Superman flight down into the trail)!

One of the more entertaining parts of the race for Carolyn was seeing athletes who were not dressed for the conditions, including several people who had no hair and were not wearing hats!

She was able to finish second in her age group. Since the first place finisher in her age group actually finished third overall, Carolyn technically did win her age group!

Way to go, Carolyn!
